The Boston Globe has named MaidPro one of the Top Places to Work in Massachusetts. This is the first year MaidPro has been recognized by The Boston Globe, landing within the top ten in the small business category.
Earlier this year MaidPro was named to the Boston Business Journal’s 2016 Top Places to Work and Healthiest Employers.
Top Places to Work recognizes the most esteemed workplaces in the state as voted on by their employees. The rankings are a result of a survey that measures employee opinions about their company’s direction, execution, connection, management, work, pay and benefits, and engagement. The employers are placed into one of four groups: small, with 50 to 99 employees; medium, with 100 to 249 workers; large, with 250 to 999; and largest, with 1,000 or more.
At the center of MaidPro’s phenomenal culture is a set of core beliefs that help nurture and maintain the company’s positive attitude. These core beliefs include hiring rock stars, believing in continual improvement and understanding that happy employees do the best work. Mark Kushinsky, Chief Executive Officer, stated, “Ultimately it’s the employees that live and express our brand. Having an enjoyable work environment is a critical element in building and maintaining a successful company…not to mention, a whole lot more fun.”
"In today's tight job market, competition for the best workers is intense," said Larry Edelman, the Globe's business editor. "Our winning companies know that creating a motivating and supportive environment is key to finding and keeping talent."
The rankings in the Top Places to Work are based on confidential survey information collected by WorkplaceDynamics, an independent company specializing in employee engagement and retention, from nearly 70,500 individuals at 366 Massachusetts organizations.
