MaidPro has been named a Top Global Franchise by Entrepreneur Magazine, which makes the franchise a great choice for entrepreneurs looking to purchase a business.
The list included the top 200 franchise brands seeking to expand outside the U.S. MaidPro ranked about midway on this year’s list at No. 113, and also made the list in 2017 and 2018.
“We started in the U.S. in Boston, but we have a strong presence and are a fast-growing and recognized brand in Canada,” said MaidPro co-founder and CEO Mark Kushinsky. “We have great territory options available for Canadian entrepreneurs and we do a lot to support our Canadian franchisees. For example, we’ve built a team of Canadian-specific vendors so our franchisees in Canada get the most value and service for their money.”
To compile this year’s Top Global Franchise list, Entrepreneur took its Franchise 500 formula and adjusted it to give extra weight to international size and growth. Companies named on the list had to be actively seeking new franchisees outside the U.S., plus had to have a minimum of five units open abroad as of July 2018. The Franchise 500 list, now in its 40th year, analyzes areas of franchise brands like costs and fees, the support they give their franchisees, brand strength, and financial strength and stability.
